Looking for friends who can teach me about the language and culture

I am only looking for Ethiopian people/friends man or women who can teach me about the language (Afan Oromo if possible but interested to learn Amharic also) and the culture as I have a child on the way who is half Ethiopian and unfortunately his father has chosen to leave . I am NOT looking for dating,I am in love with my childs father, if you know of anywhere more appropriate I can go to chat to other Ethiopian people to gain a greater understanding so my child gets to stay in touch with his roots please let me know Anyone in UK , Merseyside can tell me of any places near to me to get to know the Ethiopian community would be greatly appreciated, thankyou.
