Hello. همدلی از همزبانی بهتر است. In Farsi that means: Having the same heart is better than having the same language. I'm a simple guy; somewhat naive, kind, useful, aware and a leftist. Looking for someone simple, kind, and curious about the world. I’m plain yet sophisticated, mature yet young; serious yet could be funny (at times); curious about people and places, almost like a child. I've lived at and worked in many places on our beautiful planet and have learnt from and shared experiences with people on many different lands. I care about the well-being of my body and mind; into nature, arts, cinema, reading. I love poetry; Farsi, Arabic, and English. I definitely don't sweat the little things in life, like possessions, what's fashionable, or looking good. My desert island essentials are books (John Berger, Brecht, Rumi, and a few others) pen (a nice fountain pen with a smooth nib), paper, strong tea, a bicycle, and maybe fizzy water; a samovar would be a luxury. I love everything in nature, the woods, mountains, waters, plants; watermelon, pomegranate, papaya, mango, passion fruit, "sabzi khordan" and spices and chilli (lots of it). William Blake said everything that lives is holy, and one way to live a fuller life, is to love everything that lives. I value kindness; especially kindness to strangers. A sort of kindness that would lead to sisterhood and brotherhood between all of us. And it was Blake again who observed: "nor Man can exist but by Brotherhood".
