Carpe diem

I'm not very fond of self-describing routines, mostly because I don't believe a short summary of words, no matter how well chosen, could even begin to explain the diversity and complexity of the person behind the keyboard. That being said, I'll point out a few things I deem most important in a person: Intelligence - The ability to conduct a meaningful, articulate conversation is such a big advantage, yet unfortunately so rare to find nowadays. I'd hate to quote clichés, but you know how the old saying goes: "Seduce my mind and you can have my body,....". Well, seducing my mind doesn't guarantee you the second part, but without the ability to do so, you're doomed anyway :) Sense of Humour - There are only few things as uncomfortable and awkward, as interaction with a person lacking sense of humour. Life is complicated enough, so the ability to see its funny side in every situation is simply priceless. Tolerance - There is nothing that angers me as fast as spotting any indication of prejudiced, narrow-minded and blind hatred of something or someone, who doesn't meet your own personal point of view. The world is big enough for everyone. Honesty - Milestone and foundation of every type of relationship. Pretending to do, like or be who you are not, could provide you with some short-termed fun, but don't expect it to lead anywhere beyond that. I also take any attempt to be fooled or deceived as an amusing insult to my intelligence. Do you dare leaving me a message now?:)

Insights
Describe the perfect evening.
The perfect evening can come in many different versions - depending on the season, the mood and the company...If I'm alone and it's cold outside, I'd usually light a candle, put on some music and curl up reading or watching a nice movie with a glass of red wine. If the season allows it, I'd be outside having dinner with friends, then taking a walk or dancing salsa in a bar on the very sea coast (I live near the sea). If I am to describe the perfect romantic evening, I'd say that it all depends on the chemistry...If it is good, I will be relaxed and comfortable, the conversation will flow freely, I will laugh and everything will fall into place naturally.Like I said, I like taking long slow walks, especially if there is water nearby - a sea coast or a park with fountains. Moonlight is preferable to daylight. That's why I love the spring/summer...to feel the soft breeze and the distant echo of the crowd mixed with music, the sweet scents of ice cream stands and cotton candy, children laughing, dogs running. I like to feel the romance in the air, but it has to be spontaneous, to feel natural, not forced or too corny.
Describe your perfect weekend.
Time for relaxation and enjoyment. Time for the family and/or friends, time to do what you love most, or simply be lazy at your heart's content, without any stress.
Do you believe in love at first sight?
Depends. I believe at the spark of instant connection, which is very rare and is often confused with simple lust. It takes time to see the difference.
How many kids would you like to have?
I don't know. Maybe two.
How important is someone's physical appearance to you?
It is not so much (or at all) about beauty, which is strictly in the eye of the beholder. I rather feel drawn toward the presence - the eyes, the look, the air the person exudes...their manners, their smile, their energy.
If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
I'd rather not say it out loud :)
What is the purpose of marriage?
A formality, which makes sense only if two people are truly good for each-other.
What is the most important lesson that you've learned?
That nothing happens randomly, there is a reason behind everything and some situations would repeat themselves until we finally learn how to handle them right.
What do your friends like about you most?
Maybe that I am a good listener and like to laugh, which is infectious.
What do your friends tease you about the most?
That I often take things too personally and worry too much.
What gets on your nerves?
Narrow-minded and judgmental people, who try to preach and enforce their point of view over everyone.
What is the most important thing in a relationship?
Love and trust. Tolerance. Flexibility. Ability of self-irony and laughter over our mistakes.
What's the best age to get married?
Depends on other circumstances and on the person in question.
What turns you off?
Cruelty, deliberate rudeness, narrow-mindedness.
What turns you on?
Intelligence, Good sense of humour, good manners
What do you hope to be doing five years from now?
Doesn't matter, as long as I am happy and fulfilled.
