I think love at first sight is a bit of a romantic ideal—something magical and full of potential, like a spark that ignites a connection right away. While it might not always be “love” in the deep, long-term sense right away, there can definitely be intense attraction or a deep, instant connection that feels like something special.
How many kids would you like to have?
I am blessed with three grown up kids and they are in college.
How important is someone's physical appearance to you?
Physical appearance might catch your eye, but it’s the emotional and intellectual connection that usually makes someone truly stand out in the long run. I’d say it’s important to an extent, but it’s the whole person—who they are inside—that often makes a lasting impression.
What is the purpose of marriage?
The purpose of marriage can vary depending on the people involved and their beliefs or cultural values, but generally, it’s about forming a deep, committed partnership. For many, marriage is a way to build a life together, share experiences, and support each other emotionally, financially, and physically. It can also be about companionship, creating a family, or making a formal commitment to love and care for someone for the long term.
What do your friends like about you most?
I’d imagine my friends would appreciate my ability to listen and offer thoughtful advice or just a space to talk. I try to be understanding and show curiosity about their lives, making sure they feel heard and supported. Maybe they’d also say I’m good at keeping conversations flowing and making things interesting, especially when they need a little distraction or inspiration.
What gets on your nerves?
People being inconsiderate, constantly interrupting, or acting without thinking of others.
What is the most important thing in a relationship?
One of the most important things in a relationship is mutual respect. This means valuing each other’s feelings, thoughts, and boundaries, and treating each other with kindness and consideration. Trust is also key—it forms the foundation for emotional safety and openness.
What turns you off?
I am turned off by arrogance, a lack of empathy, or when someone is disingenuous.
