Life is short and difficult. Take responsibility for it and make it as smooth and productive as possible. Some degree of happiness and satisfaction will come from that alone.

It’s not about physical appearance, it’s about mutual attraction

Here’s my thoughts on attraction, love and compatibility. I would hope that at first, there was a instant physical attraction. Then hopefully after meeting, a hint of chemistry developing. And whilst this might be instant, it would certainly deepen with our learning of each other. Next there should be the recognition of mutual morals to some degree. An at least compatible intellect and some common interests to help us get along. We needn’t share the same views on everything but respect them without conflict. I don't believe in being too descriptive because I've also learned that our pre conceived ideas of what we want, doesn't always account for Love.
