Looking for my best friend

I have been retired from law-enforcement for over 20 years. I have a summer home in the mountains of Idaho, and a home in Central Alabama near my daughter and grandkids. A good friend has a home in Campobasso, Italy and invited me over for six weeks a few years ago. I fell in love with the land and the people. I plan on heading back in the near future. I am a Christian, a political conservative, and very much a live and let live person. I don’t care what life choices people make, but I don’t let others insist that I approve of theirs, any more than I expect them to approve of mine. I will live my life, you live yours. I plan on enjoying a peaceful rest of my life, and that includes not fighting and arguing. Looking for a best friend, and hopefully that will turn into something more. Until that time, I’m enjoying my life.
