Describe the perfect evening.
My perfect evening would be to take my date or loved one out to eat her fill at Dyer's barbecue. He has ribs and other meats so tender that they fall off of the bone.
Then we can take in one of the movies at the 4 Plex in the mall or the 6 plex theater not far away. They both offer first run movies that cannot be had anywhere else. The next day I would love to take her down to my Dad's place in Childress, Texas. He has five acres there inside the city limits. There are beautiful deer that come to graze on the tall grass in the creek. I counted one afternoon, 8 deer plus one fawn. She was so cute and beautiful. Dad is gone now, and I must oversee his property.
Describe your perfect weekend.
How about lets go to Lake City, Colorado and climb the 14,280 feet of Uncompahghre peak? Be warned.
the air gets very thin at that height, but it is worth the climb. My name and date are still in a brass cylinder located at the top of the peak. I loved climbing that big mountain. I hope to do it again one day.
Do you believe in love at first sight?
Yes I do believe in love at first sight.
How many kids would you like to have?
I am too old to have children. It would be really bad upon them if I were to have children. As it stands, once me and my two brothers die, that will be the end of the "Riley" clan forever.
How important is someone's physical appearance to you?
Yes in some ways.
If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
Super speed, beyond the speed of light. Being invulnerable to anything man made or otherwise.
What is the purpose of marriage?
Marriage is between two people. It has nothing to do with a marriage license or anything like that. Marriage license is for the state. The state needs to keep out of it.
What is the most important lesson that you've learned?
I am old and decrepit. The only lesson is one. You never get back what you put into in the first place. Best Lesson...remain aloof!
What do your friends like about you most?
I am sharp and witty and I like the motorcycles that we all ride on the Canadian River. Lots of sand and water. Keep that bike running and digging 100 percent!!
What do your friends tease you about the most?
They tease me at times about how meticulous that I am with some of the helicopters that I service. Avionics wise. I am very good at it. No one can beat me although many have tried. The others need to attend college like I did. Most would drop right out. Only a few like me stayed.
What gets on your nerves?
Women who think they are god's gift to men!!
What is the most important thing in a relationship?
One word.....Love
What's the best age to get married?
30 ish....if older then you are set in your ways, especially women.
I had a woman once. She watched TV almost all of the time. Then she ate more and got fat! It was like she had never seen a television before.
