Orthodox professional ready for marriage
I am an Orthodox Christian living in the United States. I have been a cantor for nearly 7 years. I work a professional job in the architecture/construction field - and I love what I do. I do not speak Serbian as of yet, but I am very proficient in Greek. I'm looking to get married and have a family - plain and simple. I have been reduced to online dating because of the relatively small pool of Serbian singles in my area. Not going to lie, a beautiful woman validates me. That being said, there has to be a reason for me to want to be next to you even with my eyes closed.

I'd love to know the consequences of what I'm about to do before I do it, so that I won't have to deal with the tense uncertainty.
What is the purpose of marriage?
A man and woman fulfill their full potential in marriage. Two lovers become companions and weather the storms of life together.
What is the most important lesson that you've learned?
God is in control of everything; everything that happens to us is for our benefit, no matter how unpleasant it may be.
What do your friends like about you most?
I listen well and try to make informed decisions without judging.
What do your friends tease you about the most?
I'm at church quite often. I have to be, though: I'm the cantor!
What gets on your nerves?
I get on my own nerves all the time!
What is the most important thing in a relationship?
Love. Very clear communication, honesty, trust, and every other good thing all come from love.
What's the best age to get married?
I've always thought the younger the better, but I've learned that not everyone is ready early on.

Vanity.

Modesty. Humility. Empathy. Elegance.
What do you hope to be doing five years from now?
Building a home in the mountains with my growing Orthodox family and Serbian wife!
